I am having trouble figuring out what I actually need to make with Clover, whether its an "App" that runs on a web server or a semi-integration.

Their bank wants them to use first data/clover to process the credit cards. Does this involve me building an entire "App" out and going through all your approval process? Is this doable with a semi-integration? Is there a simple way to just simply process credit cards online with clover, preferably for something pre-existing in Wordpress (thats's what their site is in)?
I don't want to go down the wrong path if I do not know what I should be building in the first place. It doesn't sound like I need to build something that would go in an "App Market" if its just processing credit cards for one site, like I would use Stripe or something like that.
