499, Application errorError on capture

Trying to capture a pre authorized payment, I have seen 499, Application error, what does it mean?, the question is because sometimes capture fails, in that case (failure scenario) I storage capture request on the database to try it latter on, so I don't know if after 499 I have to stop retrying or not.

is there any way to get the error list for capture?
