Supported merchants of semi-integration solutions

I heard from CardConnect that the semi-integrated solutions support only for merchants of CardConnect.
Is it true?

Because my company is developing a semi-integrated solution for our iOS-based POS with Clover Mini.
It is not meaning if there are only merchants of CardConnect can use it.

I can not find any official information of Clover about the supported merchants of semi-integrated.

I just confirmed with our developer relations team that this is absolutely not true.
