We created an application using a production developer account. The app will be only be used by a single customer of ours who has a merchant account.
The application makes use of the Clover Hosted Iframe and the api to create a charge.
Do we need to go through the process of getting our developer account verified and the app published in order for our customer to install the app?
Please advise.
If your integration is for a single merchant, you do not need an app. The merchant can generate a token for your app and share it with you.
From the merchant dashboard:
1) Select "Setup"
2) Select API Tokens
3) Select the "Create New Token" button
4) Check the permissions required for the API calls your integration makes
5) Check Enable online card payments
6) Select the hosted iframe option and the "Create Token"
Two tokens will be generated, the public one is the pakms, the private one is for the charge apis.
