Java version supported to Clover Mini device?

Hi All,
We are integrating Xstore version 5.5 (using java 1.6) with Clover Mini, but we are getting protocol related exception while trying to connect clover device:It seems to be SSL or TLS protocol related issue because we have seen that Clover device is able to support java 1.8 only with clover_cacerts.p12 certificate. Is it possible to use java 1.6 and if so which protocol need to be used?

Hello @Devendra,

In order to consume our remote-pay-java SDK, the minimum Java version required is Java 7. We recommend working with Java 8 as future releases of the SDK may migrate to this requirement.

We are integrating our POS system Xstore (using java version 1.7.0.25 , 64 bit) with clover mini device using remote pay java SDK 1.4.0 but we are getting attached protocol version exception while connecting to clover mini device. Could you please let us know how can we resolve this issue?
We cannot use Java 8 as our POS system does not support that.

Please let us know if you need any information from us regarding the error.
