Can you photograph an item for sale and attach the image to a sale receipt? I run an art gallery and photograph would help artist vendors identify details of the item sold.
You should be able to capture an image using the camera by calling a MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE intent via Android. https://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/MediaStore
However, the Mini camera is quite small and has a 5mp resolution. You may also want to consider an external camera that connects to the Clover device via USB if you need the image to be fairly scalable/detailed.
