How can we restrict app access to only specific merchant IDs ?
We need to only permit access to our web-app to authorized stores associated with one distributor, in one state.
Is this a public app? Are you looking to prevent these merchants from even connecting to (installing your app) or do you just want to disallow access (merchant can connect/install but cannot login to your app)?
The idea is to have an app that works only for clover merchants from a specific list of eligible merchants, in one US state, Like a release group. But we need to add a new 'eligible' merchant when they sign up on clover app-market. So not available to every merchant on appmarket. access to use the app needs to be restricted to specific 'approved' stores, because the data they obtain via this app will be commercially confidential.
The Clover App Market is public, there is no mechanism to only show certain apps to specific merchants. Perhaps what you are looking for is a private app? In which case you need to contact developer relations. If it is ok for any merchant to connect to/install your app then you could just limit things on your end (don't allow the login for merchants based on whatever data you have).
