Creating a Charge - externalReferenceId - Allowed Characters

When creating a charge, we receive an error message if the `externalReferenceId` contains certain characters. So far we have identified that hypens `-` and underscores `_` are not accepted.


I am unable to find any list of allowed/disallowed characters in the documentation. Could you please let me know which characters cannot be included in an `externalReferenceId`?

I contacted the ecomm docs team. It looks like it is alphanumeric only.
