Webhook for virtual terminal

It appears Clover system doesn't send Webhook calls for payments processed by Virtual Terminal, can you fix that?

Our Ping Me If sends alert to merchant whenever there is a payment transaction over certain amount. It relies on webhook notification to pull payment data.

if there is no webhook call, the app won't know there is a new transaction.

Could you please also educate us the design thinking behind why virtual terminal transaction won't fire web hooks?

We dont have an internal use case for VT webhooks since it is an internal app it is not implemented. We are happy to note your request, but we do not have any plans to implement this at this time.

As a platform, whenever there is a new payment record created it should fire a web hook no matter where it come from. I am not saying VT app should fire web hook. but Clover platform should. Does this mean there is no web hook for payment record created by any 3rd party app include Clover Online Order app?

That is correct. We do not fire web hooks for virtual terminal payments. This is by design and not a bug. Can you please give us more information on your use case?
