Clover Mini Dev Kit hung on "Processing..." payment screen - even after unplugging the device

I was testing one of our apps on my Clover Dev Kit and when I went to the screen that accepts a credit card my entire device hung with the screen showing "Processing..." like it does before it asks you to insert the credit card. I've unplugged the device for now 20 minutes and the screen is still stuck here (which is really weird). Is there a button or something to perform a hard reset on this device since unplugging it hasn't really changed anything?

After 1 hour being stuck on this screen the Clover eventually powered down. I guess there is some sort of internal battery that needed to drain before the device unstuck itself?
