Token verification failed

Hello,

For one of our customers we are continuously getting this error:

Token verification failed for token clv_XXXXXXXXXXX

Where XXXXXX is different each time. Other customers pass without issue, but a couple of them, give us the error. I even authorized the card via the Virtual Terminal without an issue.

Any ideas?

We are having the same issue with our Clover integration. Our app is getting 500+ of these errors per month without any explanation. We get:
Token verification failed for token clv_XXX - card_error
It is impossible that this many people are entering wrong zip code or cvv, or anything else.
We are watching LogRocket sessions (offcourse we don't see the card info), and we see that all of these users tried entering card details multiple times, without any success.

We were Payeezy clients then we were forced to transition to Clover at the end of March. Now we're using Clover's native APIs to tokenize and charge the cards, but we're getting the same error throughout the day, at least 70+ times a day. Why can't Clover return what is wrong with the card details? This is very frustrating as we have clients all over the world.
