Listen or know when a customers selects receipt by text?

As part of my software, it would send a second receipt print job or if possible, send a second text message.

Would we be able to know if the customer selected or touched "Text Message" once the payment has been completed?

Based on what I see in the code there is no way for another app to know what kind of receipt was selected.

Smart receipts wont help either, correct? (for text messages)
