Recurring Payments - Partial Payment

Does anyone know if recurring payments allow partial payments? I don't know how to test for this.

This is not a supported functionality, the payment will have to processed in full, please note that there will be 5 attempts for the payment before the subscription goes into a deactive state

No, recurring payments don't support partial payments. Payments must be processed in full; failure results in subscription deactivation after 5 attempts.
