remote-pay-cloud unable to connect to device emulator.

I am exploring the Remote Pay Sdk’s Cloud variant and trying the sample application (Remote Pay Cloud Codelab ) to connect to a clover device emulated on Android studio. I have:

1. Remote Pay Cloud App running on my machine on localhost:8080

2. Clover Mini 2 Emulator running on Android Studio

3. Secure Network Pay Display App configured and started on the Emulator (URI to create web socket- wss://10.0.2.16:12345/remote_pay)

4. Hitting Connect through cloud pay application running on localhost:8080

Getting Error:

WebSocket connection to 'wss://10.0.2.16:12345/remote_pay' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Make sure that the Remote Pay Cloud App is running on your machine on localhost:8080. You can check this by opening the app and looking at the URL in the address bar.

Make sure that the Clover Mini 2 Emulator is running on Android Studio. You can check this by opening the emulator and looking at the status bar.

Make sure that the Secure Network Pay Display App is configured and started on the Emulator. You can check this by opening the app and looking at the settings.

Make sure that the URI to create the web socket is correct. You can find the correct URI in the documentation for the Secure Network Pay Display App Like cleanyourcrystals.

If you have checked all of these things and you are still unable to connect, you can try the following:

Restart the Remote Pay Cloud App.

Restart the Clover Mini 2 Emulator.

Restart the Secure Network Pay Display App.

Check your network connection.

Try connecting to a different device.

If you are still unable to connect, you can contact support for help.

Don't listen to these nonsense replies. You need a devkit to use Cloud Pay Display.

When encountering the error message "Remote Pay Cloud unable to connect to device emulator," it indicates a problem with establishing a connection between the Remote Pay Cloud software and the device emulator being used. This error can occur due to various reasons, such as network issues, misconfiguration of the emulator, or compatibility problems. To troubleshoot this issue, first, check your network connection to ensure it is stable and properly configured. Verify that the device emulator is connected to the same network as the computer running Remote Pay Cloud. If there are any firewalls or security software in place, ensure they are not blocking the communication between the emulator and Remote Pay Cloud. Next to view the Rent Lamborghini Dubai
, review the emulator's settings and configurations. Confirm that the emulator is correctly configured to emulate the desired device or terminal, and the necessary drivers or software are installed. Check if there are any specific requirements or guidelines provided by the emulator's documentation or the Remote Pay Cloud software.
