Difference in Order Total between Receipt and orders screen.

Is there any case where the order total shown in Receipt is different from What is received in Orders API?


In one of the orders, Order total is shown as 12.59 in receipts. But 14.52 in API.

How is the order being created? That would indicate to me that the order was created via API by a third party and the third party set the total to an incorrect amount. We recalculate the total when the receipt is generated.
