Will a USB to micro USB adapter work and communicate with your portal? I was advised a laptop would work, but need to know if a tablet would also work.

Can your 2D scanner work with an Apple or Android tablet?
As a followup: My merchant will not be using the Mobile for stock taking, therefore want to know if her Symbol STB4278 WiFi scanner can interface with your software. Is there any code that can be modified to make this work? Have you tested any other wireless barcode scanners that can be used?
There's no reason it should not work, we don't restrict communication over wifi. It's just between your app and the scanner. No, we don't test with any wifi scanners. The only scanners we officially support are USB,
