CloverAccount getAccount on clover mini 2 gen

Hi,
I read about the issue with the clover mini 2 gen and the targetSdkVersion greather than 25 getting the CloverAccount.getAccount, my question is, if I downgrade the targetSdkVersion to 25 my application will be sopported by the clover mini 2 gen? In the documentation I read that device work with (API Level 27, Oreo).

TargetSdkVersion 25 will work on all Clover devices.
