How long does it take to configure the emulator

I'm following the instructions at https://docs.clover.com/clover-platform/docs/setti...

The "Updates are installing" notification has been open for 26 minutes. How long does this typically take to complete? I'm on a 2019 laptop.

Our app updater is hobbled on emulators. It can't actually install apps without user interaction. Every time it tries to install an app you should see a popup asking you to confirm the installation. You also need to select "allow unknown sources" for installation.

You don't have to use app updater. You can manually install only the apps you need (you at least need com.clover.crypt and com.clover.engine).

Ha you weren't kidding. You should tap on the notification and approve all the requests for permissions. Then you have to click install for every app the installer tries to install. You'll be doing many taps!

It'd be great if the docs mentioned that, otherwise most devs would install all these apps.
