Add a device ID to an order made through the REST API

We are creating orders through the API and would like to assign them to a default device. But I have so far been unable to create or update an order with a device id when using the REST API.

An order created with the Rest API cannot have a device. This is because the order was created online. For an order to have a device it must be created on a clover device. Additionally, the device field of an order cannot be updated.
