Secure Board Status Tamper Detected

I have a dev unit that I ordered in 2016 that I am dusting off and trying to get running but I am unable to get past the activation screen after a factory reset. I am getting an error "Secure Board Status Tamper Detected". Anyone know how I can get back into my dev unit?

I have a similar issue, though mine was already set up and just now cannot accept PIN debits. Do you offer any kind of refurbishment or other program where I could send in my Mini and get it replaced for some fee less than the cost of a new unit?

We don't, personally. You will need to order a new one from https://cloverdevkit.com/

A device that has been tampered cannot go through set-up. You'll need to purchase a new devkit.
