question

I am re-provisioning a clover mini, but although clover & processor say the s/n is under the correct/new merchant, the device still displays the previous merchant. I have been rebooting all day but no change, and I am told there is nothing else to do to but get the pass code from the prev merchant, however they are long gone and dont care to tell me what their pass code is. Is there anything else I can do?
