How can I set up discounts and promotions in Clover for seasonal sales?

Hi, I’m planning to run seasonal sales and would like to set up discounts and promotions on my Clover POS. Can anyone guide me through the process of creating percentage or dollar-off discounts? Also check, is there a way to schedule these promotions to activate automatically during specific dates? Any tips on optimizing this for a smoother checkout experience would be greatly appreciated. To set up discounts and promotions for seasonal sales in Clover (a popular point-of-sale system), follow these steps:

1. Log into Clover Dashboard

  • Access the Clover Dashboard via the web or the Clover POS app on your device.

2. Go to the Discounts & Promotions Section

  • In the Clover dashboard, navigate to the "Items" or "Settings" section, depending on your version.
  • Select "Discounts" from the menu options.

3. Create a New Discount

  • Click on "Add Discount" or "Create New Discount".
  • Choose the type of discount you want to apply:
    • Percentage Discount: Offer a percentage off (e.g., 20% off).
    • Fixed Amount Discount: Apply a fixed dollar amount off (e.g., $10 off).
