Some 'key' API properties are not available

Hi there,

Brand new agent here! Why are the "Online Status" and item "Description" not available in the API response for inventory items, or, item detail??

Doesn't make sense how these critical item management elements are not available in the API response for items. Please advise.

Totally agree. Every other POS offers item descriptions in their API. I've emailed dev relations and they have no clue about becoming an online ordering developer.
