User defined fields not carrying over

We have a hosted checkout setup with 3 user defined fields being passed over to clover as documented by the below guide (x_user1, x_user2,x_user3). The issue is that the fields are not carrying over. They are coming in as blank and they are also editable which in the documentation it says is not supposed to happen.

Can anybody help me figure out why this is happening or indicate if I am mistaken in indicating that this is all that is needed?

We've have this since before the migration to clover and I am not 100% sure if this issue has been because of that.

Can you provide the guide, I can't see the x_user1, etc you are reference to. Can you also provide a sample payload for me to take a look.

Here is a screenshot of out HTML form. I have yellowed out a portion where our Payment Page Id value is. In the screenshot, you can also see where we have used the x_user1 in the name property.

Not sure about the payeezy hosted payments. This a Clover form for Clover products, APIs, and sdks. I would recommend reviewing our Clover Hosted Checkout:
