Can I use a repeater to connect my kitchen printer

Hi, I have a Clover Duo display and just bought the kitchen printer for it. My business has two floors, the cash register would be upstairs and the printer would be downstairs. To connect these two devices I need a router and I wanted to know if you think it is possible to keep these devices connected by using the router upstairs and a wireless wifi repeater downstairs.
