Any updates on launching Activities on tethered Minis?

Hi folks, we have had numerous requirements to insert ourselves into the payment flow on a Mini in customer mode since I last asked a question on it here. I managed to background much of the processing back then, but this time we have an app in development for a large multinational that simply will not work unless the merchant or customer interacts with the app immediately after a sale.

This has also been requested by other devs here and here

It is especially a problem for Minis attached to keypads, as the device is totally locked down in this mode whereas at least a tethered station is not. Just wondering if there has been any update or thoughts on this before we have to attempt to simply disallow tethered keypad users from using the app?

Hello, for others seeking answers to this inquiry, no changes have been made from the platform to enable activity over top of the customer facing app running on the mini however, here are some options that could accommodate the request.
