Bar Scenario How to know how much amount Employee owes to the Owner after shift end?

Hello,

One of our client who is a Bar-Resto style is asking about this. When one of his employees choose collects cash payments in busy time, and at the end of the shift that cash includes tips. How to know how much should the employee give to the owner?

Like lets say one evening a employee collects 300$ cash. But the order total is only 250$. 300$ includes 50$ cash tips. Now the employee owes 250$ cash to the owner. How to determine this amount from the clover reporting because its not showing this amount (250$ cash)

In “shifts” or “homebase”, there is an option for each shift that asks if they are holding cash sales. If you select that they are, then it will do the math on the shift reports. You can go back and select the option later too. so if you want to pull a report, then go select that and pull the same shift report you’ll see the difference

Also, you can make sure that it has their report settings to account for tips when doing cash reports.
