We have a cross-platform app (built with Expo) for merchants.
The merchant app gets notifications of new pick up orders and allows merchants to scan QR codes with the device camera.
One of the merchants we work with has a clover device and asked if they can have our merchant app run on it.
Few questions:
On your website it shows you charge 30% revenue share with the apps on your app market? Is that regardless of the app? Our app has no rev share with Google or Apple. Will the same apply with your app market?
Will an existing android app (APK) be compatible with your app market or is there a need to develop a special app just for clover? How different is it?
Is there a way to scan a QR code with the clover POS? I saw something that looked like a camera at the top of the device, close to where the credit card scanner goes. Can the app access this camera and scan QR codes just like an android phone has access to the front and back cameras?
Is there a way to test an existing android app with your device?
