I was able to reproduce this and wrote up an issue for the ecomm team. I will update this post when I hear something.
Hey @David is there any progress on the resolve here? Would love to know if there's anything we can do to escalate this issue since it's blocking some of the core functionality on our inventory tracking system.
Hi @david i've been doing some tests to confirm if the Track Stock is working with the E-Comm and still is not working, how can i share you the information or what information do you need?
Settings used for all the test orders:
Test orders:
Order: B3B4C4QBGBK34
Paid the orders using the E-Commerce API
Track stock Qty didn't changed
(I've made multiple tests paying with E-Commerce API)
Order: AYD4KTNZJD1D6
Process the Online Order and paid it with "Cash payment" on a Clover Station Register App
Track stock Qty changed
I just tried this on my production test account and I am unable to reproduce the issue. The stock decrements for me correctly. I am creating the order as your are (via the v3 order endpoint) adding line items etc. Have you tried other inventory items? Can you provide us with a link to your test app (in a moderator's only post) so we can reproduce this?
