Cannot exit the Ordering.app screen on Station 2018

We have a production merchant who informed us that they cannot exit the below screen when this screen comes up on the Station 2018. (It doesn't seem to be happening for other device models like Minis)

There's no way to exit this, and they have to restart the device. And during a very small 5 second gap where the device is starting up, and just right before this app starts again. There's a way to open up another app. If not, this Ordering.app screen takes up the full screen again and they have to do the device restart all over again.

Any idea why this is happening, or how to prevent this?

Has the merchant tried contacting Clover support?

Yes, They have for several months now.

They’ve acknowledged it’s a bug, but there has not been any fixes or workarounds.

Any update on a fix for this?
Our application uses the Full Screen CustomerMode.
It seems that ordering.app for some reason comes to the foreground and takes the control of the device and goes to Full Screen, and it does not have any option to exit the full screen after that.

Update to my original post:
It happens for merchants using Clover Mini 2nd Gen as well.

Also is there a way to push the Ordering.app to our Sandbox devices?
