E-Commerce API Tips

How are tips handled in the new E-Commerce API? I know it's not fully announced yet but the released documentation doesn't have any mention of tips.

The new ecomm API does not support tips and we do not have a timeline for adding support.

Will it eventually be added or is this considered high priority? Most restaurant apps using payments will need tips.

I was told we do not have a timeline for adding support. I will share your concerns.

I got some more info for you. For the first phase we are supporting retail/basic payment. We do expect to support tip but I cannot provide you with an ETA. We are hoping it will be this year.
