Payment Gateway for a Merchant

We have a sandbox account but we don't know how to enable credit card payments. We have a payeezy account.

How can we configure payment gateway settings for a merchant ?
Is it better if the merchant has Payeezy credentials ?
Once configured can we also fetch the details from gateway API ?

Kindly respond back asap.

Sandbox accounts and devices cannot be used to actually process credit cards, they are for development and testing only.
