status code: 403 App doesn't have required permission: Package: , not allowed permission: MERCHANT_R

I have added permissions to both sandbox and production environments, reinstalled app, but still when attempting to access MerchantConnector to get Merchant info, I receive error


status code: 403 App doesn't have required permission: Package: <our package>, not allowed permission: MERCHANT_R


There are are a number of threads on this, but seemed to be no answers. Clover support, can you assist?
