I have a client with two locations. I have fully rebuilt the networks at both locations. New ethernet wiring, switches, new cable internet from Comcast, everything is all brand new and working as it should. I have both locations connected via Fortigate 60F Firewalls using an IPSEC tunnel. I am allowing all traffic to cross the VPN in both directions.
No matter what I do the clover terminals at the remote location will not see the kitchen printer at the main location. I can see the printers in Windows from the remote location, I can ping them, I can even install the kitchen printers on a computer at the remote location. So the IPSEC tunnel is working fine. But when going into the printers app on the clover terminal and clicking the green plus icon to add a printer, nothing shows up as available.
We have tried three different star printers and none show up on the terminals at the remote location. Clover support is a joke. When I even get though to someone I can understand, all they ever do it have me reset defaults on the printers.
Printer models tried: Star SP742, Star SP712, and Star SP742ML.
Clover terminals are all up to date when I manually check for updates.
Has anyone been in this type of situation?
