Description from Rest API

We are using the rest API to automate price changes to our customer's digital menu board. They've asked we do the same for the description but that field is not being returned in the data. They sent a screenshot from the Doordash integration and it is in there but we don't see the field. How can we get this field from the API results?

Ask them how/where they added it. If via the dashboard, login to the dashboard (will probably need merchant login) and inspect the request that is made to retrieve/update that field. Clover probably doesn't advertise this stuff but I am guessing you can still use those apis. This isn't official and even if it works clover may block it at some point, so let your merchant know that.
