clover mini shutting down

After a few weeks of not using my Clover Mini, now when I power it on using the green button inside the receipt paper compartment, it displays the Clover logo with the alternating colored "leafs" and immediately displays a the message "Shutting down..." and then powers down.

Can you confirm if you have the device connected to a power supply?

It sounds like the battery is not charged.
