REST Pay Display API for private app

Hello!


I am trying to install a Rest Pay Display for an integration between a custom-made POS for a single client.


From what I understand, I need to have full OAuth connection, so I need to create an app, submit it to production, etc.


Am I missing something, is it possible to use the Rest Pay Display API without submitting a full app?
