Automatic Printing of Tickets With Order Barcode Included

When we take orders for deli sandwiches in our shop, the order automatically prints to the kitchen printer and to the printer connected to the station on which the order was taken. The customer does not pay for their order at this location, we are a bakery, so after placing orders for sandwiches, customers browse the bakery cases for sweets, then pay at another station located at the opposite end of the showcases. Once the order has been taken, we tap "save," which triggers the order to be printed in the kitchen and at the station being used. We would like for a third ticket to print out of the same station printer that contains the order barcode on it, which could be given to the customer and then presented to our employees in the area where the order will be paid for along with any sweets items that have been selected out of the showcase. Does anyone know how to make this happen?

Are you a Clover merchant? This forum is for developers that build apps on our platform to get development assistance. If you are a Clover merchant you should contact Clover support for assistance. When you call Clover Support ask them about your print settings

Yes, I am a Clover Merchant and Clover technical support is absolutely no help whatsoever with this. What I'm trying to accomplish is something POS systems have been capable of for years, but no one can seem to figure out how to make it happen with Clover. Is there anywhere else to get help other than Clover support?

Have you tried adding the payment receipt>barcode option and manually print out the bill?

Yes, that does work, but its the manual printing that we are trying to get around for a couple of reasons - with multiple stations constantly taking orders, employees will often have to search through a list of orders to find the order that they are trying to reprint the bill from, plus when customer volume is high just adding that additional step is a major time killer. The goal is to have 2 copies of the order print automatically at the station when it is "saved" with at least one of those copies having the bar code.

Auto printing bills with orders is not a supported feature.


Your only options are to manually print bill or just use the order receipt and have the customer reference either the order number or the order id (alphanumeric number at the bottom of the order receipt).

Or you can browse the Clover App Market and see if there is an app that could accomplish this.


I still recommend calling Clover Support to put in your feature request for an enhancement.

It is a very simple need....I need 3 copies of the order to print: 1 to the Kitchen, 1 to the Station Printer, and 1 more to the Station Printer that has a barcode on it that can be handed to the customer.
