We are experiencing some infrequent issues with the Georgia DDS app (APP ID: CPZRX42PE283G), and wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience and if they found any workarounds. Some devices will arbitrarily display the following error message:
Custom activity '' not found. Make sure the app containing the custom activity is installed on this device
Below are screenshots of the error (One is from a Mini Gen 1 and the other is from a Mini Gen 2). We have had this issue occur roughly a dozen times in September and about 7 times in October, all on different devices across various MIDs.
We have already confirmed that all merchants have the app properly installed and that they also have the USB Pay Display app properly installed. Typically the app is working fine prior to displaying the error.
To resolve the issue, the merchants have been doing a soft reboot, and the app appears to work fine after that, but it is very disruptive as these are live DMV locations with lines of customers. We are attempting to get a merchant to send in the device logs after one of these occurrences, but that is very challenging due to the fact that they are active DMVs and because this issue is infrequent.
