Hosted Checkout: custom field

I have a client that would like to use the Clover hosted checkout option, however she needs her clients to be able to enter an invoice number at the time of the transaction. Is there a way to add a custom field to the standard hosted checkout?

I'm also wanting to do something similar. Was there a metadata field or some option to pass additional information?

From our current API, there is no field for custom data for invoice:
