Using an existing app for REST Pay Integration

Hi, we're in the process of integrating Clover REST Pay for Cloud Payments.

In the guide (https://docs.clover.com/docs/creating-a-sandbox-app), it mentions the following.

At the prompt, "Is this app an integration of an existing point of sale?", select Yes.

Our current live app has Web REST Client enabled, but we have the option mentioned above marked as No.

We noticed that in Live, switching the prompt to Yes, moves the prompt "Do you intend to make this app publicly available to merchants via the Clover App Market?" to No automatically.

Does this mean we can't use the same app for REST Pay Integration?

Hello,

Can you please clarify what you mean by Cloud payments?

For the semi-integration to use REST Pay Display it will need to have the Merchant Read API selected.

If you are wanting your semi-integration using the REST Pay Integration to also have an online payment capability, then you will also need to select Payments Read, Payments Write, and our e-commerce Process Credit Cards API

Most semi-integrations are simply wanting to process payments from a third party hardware/software and make the request the Clover device to process a payment
