TOKENIZATION via SEMI-INTEGRATED

Is tokenization available using the semi-integrated SDK? Or is tokenization available only to eCommerce?

Clover Connector has a vault method that tokenizes the card, however, the token it returns is not yet compatible with our ECommerce API. We have a new Rest Pay API (Rest Pay Display or Cloud Pay Display) that can tokenize cards and return either a device token or EComm token - https://docs.clover.com/docs/creating-a-card-token.

Hi David, are there plans to eventually make it so the vaulted card token can work with the ECommerce API? This would be huge for us. Our use case is when people sign up for membership plans in person. Currently we have to key in the card manually, all of our users are asking to be able to swipe/tap/dip the card to make it easier.

We have tried using the Rest Pay API but when testing our sandbox device gets stuck in some sort of loop and is unusable until we turn it off and then on again.

Rest Pay API works fine for me, and I would recommend you use it. If it isn't working for you, please provide details so we can look into the issue.
