Printing to a TML90 USB using the clovers printing app. An order of 100 items results in labels not being printed and in not consecutive. ( on clover mini or 2018) .
I don't know much about printing and nothing about sticky label printing but 100 items in an order seems like a lot. I assume you are following the instructions here - https://www.clover.com/help/set-up-sticky-labels/, and using the correct label paper size?
Yep.. they're for corporate events, actually, a single order can exceed 400 items, but that's a different limitation of clover exposed.
re label print.
Interestingly on a station PRO. We see that when 100 labels are asked to print the first 5 will have 2 items on them. ( even in the middle font) and then the rest of the 100 is 1 item per label. here though, we do see all 100 items print. and in another variation. an order of Qty 20 or 2 items sees 20 labels but with 2 items per label.
Of note the 3rd party order labels app works 100%.
Alright, I see a few sticky label printing issues in our issue tracking system that may be related. Some of them have been active recently, I have made some comments and will see if I can get some updates/information for you.
how to interact with clovers " issue tracking system"? I respect that a clover specific issue is probably not good content for a "developers portal"
We don't expose our issue tracking system, I will watch the issue and update you when I have something to report.
The update I have at this time is that a fix for overlapping labels will be rolling to production mid-August. Another fix for text getting cut-off at the edge of labels will be in a follow-up app's cut (probably in the September time-frame).
Our team tested printing large orders (200+ items) and did not find any missing items, they did find that if multiple types of the same order exists that they may not print in order (which you have already reported). They have written up a ticket for this.
OK.. ill start to reduce the number of labels per item below 100 to see at what point we get all items printing.. The customer has asked a slightly different thing though.. for large orders they don't want the labels to print. ( no need to label each cup ) how to temporarily disable printing for an item/order. WITHOUT.. making all orders a manual print function.
