sandbox emulator for solo

When we create a sandbox emulator at the moment of creating an account. the email address and password of a merchant are rejected.


The app states STG in the top left corner. is this sandbox?

When did you go through the emulator steps? We had a problem with the emulator a few weeks ago where engine was pointing to stg instead of sandbox but that was resolved last week. Engine 2130 - https://sandbox.dev.clover.com/developers/dev-apks should be ok.

30 seconds ago.. i am using engine 2126... ill try again with 2130..

If it was 30 seconds ago, it seems you should be using engine 2130, is there a link we failed to update?

only that 2126 worked for me a few months back.. I do get a similar error with 2130.

Several developers confirmed 2130 is working, and I don't think anything has changed since then.

They won't work if you try to click on them in the forum.


I had the same problem for the sandbox apks.

I fixed my login issue by downloading com.clover.engine-2131.apk instead.

re. the discounts app. we have been having issues with real dev kits and we cannot install discounts.

I had our team update the apks page, also, we fixed the discounts and notes apps.

On the emulator, this seems to be resolved - TY.

On Dev kits, I'll confirm that Discounts is able to be installed on a device association later today..

When will real dev units be available for purchase? The emulator is nice, but we would need a real device prior to the final internal QA.
