How to get discount Amount for am order?

Can we get discount amount directly for all types of discounts irrespective of percentage discount or Amount Discount? Currently if we get percentage, we are getting some differences

Yes, we are trying to calculate discount amount for an order . For Amount Discount, we are good. However, while calculating Amount from Percentage discounts, there is scope for mismatch in decimals. So, is there anyway we can get Discount Amount directly?
