Alternate inventory name not printing with PrinterConnector SDK

Currently we have enabled the "Use alternate inventory names" setting from the Clover Mini setup app. We tried placing an order from the Clover Registry app and the correct alternate name for the item got printed in the kitchen/order receipt. But when we try to print the kitchen/order receipt from the PrinterConnector SDK, only the item name gets printed but not the alternate name. Should we manually enable this when using the SDK? If so, how to enable it?

Any update on this? It's been close to an year, but the issue still remains the same.
