Is PaymentConnector already using the new ECommerce API?

I am almost finishing an Android App for Flex and Flex2 devices, that uses PaymentConnector API to handle payments... With the new announcement of the ECommerce API requirements, do I need to do any changes to my code or will the PaymentConnector handle this migration under the hood ?

PaymentConnector and the ECommerce API are unrelated APIs used for different things. PaymentConnector is used or card-present payments taken on a Clover device, our ECommerce API is used for card-not-present payments.

So, this means that if my app is using PaymentConnector it won't be affected by the new requirement to use ECommerce API instead DevAPI, correct ?
