Problems with new web dashboard

Surprised there was no beta phase so we could provide feedback before this went live. Some huge issues with the new version of the web dashboard:

  • Entering items via the web dashboard is now super clunky and takes twice as long as before
  • Cannot search for items in inventory by product code

Not being able to search items by their product code seems like a ridiculous change. Our entire invetory was established this way. When you scan a bardcode into the Clover station that is not in your invetory, it creates a new item and autofills that number into the product code field, not the SKU field. Any recommendations to work around these changes are appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback. We did perform a beta for the new inventory design. Many merchants were invited to participate. We are aware of the issue with the product code search and we are working to fix it.

You can switch back to the old inventory design via the dashboard -> Inventory -> Setup.
