I made software that just sends transactions to the clover device. Do I need approval?

I made software that just tells the clover how much something costs. My partner says I need approval in order to do this. Is this true? It only tells the console the price of something and does not take any info from the device.

It depends, do you plan on multiple Clover merchants using your software? If yes, then yes you need to go through our approval process.
