We are having some reported issues on Clover Pro/Duo. But the devkit is backordered for a long time. Is there a way you make Station 2018 with Mini connected behave like the Pro? Of course this is for "quick and dirty" development which can come with any strings attached.
Specifically, we are looking to mimic the exact behavior of payment flow and return of control back to our app on merchant side.
No that is not possible. Due to the uniqueness of the hardware the only way to verify functionality it on the real device.
Can you please describe the uniqueness? In the Developer Session Video, we are told if our app was merchant facing and did not do the following
1. Use Platform specific code
2. Did not do special things in onPause it should work.
Our app does neither, so there is still few caveats that are may not be documented then?

The request to test is more about what we don't know than what we do. We've documented caveats we are aware of. It's difficult to plan and test for everything considering the nature of plugin interface like this.
